Novinkou, která se dostane na pulty obchodů již tento týden je nová myš od Microsoftu s označením SideWinder X8. Microsoft se tedy tímto začíná pohybovat i v herním světě, neboť svými vlastnostmi bude tato myš ideální pro hráče. SideWinder X8 je sice bezdrátová, ale je maximálně rychlá a přesná, proto ji Microsoft označil přímo jako myšku určenou pro hráče.
SideWinder X8 má ve výbavě mnoho moderních funkcí. Jednou z nich je například BlueTrack technologie, která jí umožňuje pracovat s 13 000 framy za sekundu, což z ní opravdu dělá myš vhodnou pro hráče.
Podle informací od Microsoftu, by měla na jedno nabití vydržet až třicet hodin. Další výhodou a funkcí je možnost používání této myši jako drátové, čímž dochází zároveň k jejímu nabíjení. SideWinder X8 disponuje 12-ti tlačítky, z nichž sedm z nich je možné naprogramovat dle potřeby uživatele. Celková koncepce byla navržena tak, aby umožňovala uživateli co nejvyšší rychlost a přesnost.
Jediným kliknutím si můžete změnit senzitivitu (DPI), či si nahrát makra. Celkově tato myš nevypadá špatně svým vzhledem a ani cenově na tom není zle. Cena se bude pohybovat cca okolo 100 dolarů (cca 2.200 Kč) což je za tuto novinku solidní cena. Nezbývá už tedy nic jiného než ji chytit a vyzkoušet.
